Xfinity stream

I have a simple question.

Can I run xfinity stream app on my roku?

I can run the stream app on my phone.

I recently signed up with the 5 year price lock on 1 gig internet.

Does xfinity stream come with it?..

I have tried xfinity assistant with no success.

I even talked to an agent without success until we were disconnected.

When i load app on roku and try to activate, I type in code and I get this message on roku

First off yes the Stream app is included.  I have the same issue that you are mentioning with Roku and I have the same subscription as you.  Along with the app on fire stick sometimes recognizing and iPhone never recognizing that it’s connected to the home internet network therefore local broadcast channels don’t show up.  Also Xfinity support on the phone has given me incorrect and inconsistent information about what’s included with an internet only subscription so make sure you know what you are entitled to.  Local broadcast channels are included on the Stream app with an internet only subscription, sometimes they show up for me on my firestick and most times they do not.  If it matters to you, start requesting bill credits to your account and be persistent.

user_alnbvf Our Xfinity Stream app provides content based on a subscription you have with us for TV service. If you are looking to stream some content that has no cost, we do have a Xumo box we can send you that has some included streaming service built in that has no cost per month. If you wish to use our Xfinity stream app though, you would first need to sign up for a service it would stream. You can see our streaming options for subscription here https://www.xfinity.com/nowtv. If there is a channel lineup we have you would like to sign up for, that would also become available through the app when subscribed as well.

This response is not correct.  You do not need to sign up for a TV subscription plan to use the Stream app.  There are over 180 channels of content available for any Xfinity customer.

6bird8 All Xfinity customers can download the Xfinity Stream app or visit the Xfinity Stream portal, log in with their Xfinity ID and password and start enjoying available content. An Xfinity TV subscription is not required to use the Xfinity Stream app or portal, but different Xfinity services do offer different content.
