Xfinity stream
I like to leave the TV on for my dogs when I go out, but when I launch my Xfinity Stream app and select a channel, within 5 minutes after I leave it somehow recognizes that me and my IPhone are gone (I am not AirPlaying), and it freezes and the AppleTV screensaver takes over. This doesn’t happen with any other AppleTV app and doesn’t happen with the Xfinity Stream app when I am at home.
Ideas? Solutions?

Hello, thank you for taking the time to reach out for assistance. I understand you are having some issues remaining connected to your Xfinity Stream app, and I am happy to help. Most programs and channels through the app do require you to remain connected to the home's Wi-Fi. So if the device you are streaming from is no longer there, it would disconnect. When this happens, are you connecting to the stream app directly from the Apple TV? Is the TV also connected to the home Wi-Fi?
