xfinity stream taking long time to open

The past few days when I open it on my pc there is a white screen for like 20-30 secs, then the actual site, but it lingers on connecting for another 15 secs or so. On my phone, whether I use 5g/lite/internet, it will take a good 2-3 minutes, at it's best time, after trying 4-5 times. Not sure what's up with that white screen. I seem to be getting the proper internet speed.

@hevy Hello and thank you for taking the time to reach out to us with your concerns about Xfinity stream. I know you mentioned that it happens on multiple devices, and while connected to wifi or LTE, but have you tried to reboot your modem or device to see it that helps resolve the issue?

@XfinityAbbie​ I have, it didn't help, it's actually worse, takes longer and a pop up says it's not responding and do I want to wait or quit. Seriously annoying, and the dvr is lagging and freezing too. Apparently there are no issues with my internet speed or modem. But the dvr and streaming are two different issues, but basically the same issue.

@hevy, resetting your X1 DVR and deleting and reinstalling the app also helps a lot of times. When you have a chance send us a direct message with your name and service address, so we can take a closer look at your account. You can do this by using the Direct Messaging icon at the top of the page. Just send your message to "Xfinity Support."
