Xfinity Stream stopped working all of a sudden
I use Xfinity Stream daily. Have been using it for a couple/few years. No issues. All of a sudden, it stopped working. I use it mainly on my iPad using the iPad Stream app but I also use it on my Mac in Safari. When it stopped working on my iPad, I went to my Mac and tried using it on the Mac. Fail. Can’t even log into xfinity.com on my Mac or iPad. I have made no changes to my network. I did hard boot my router today, but that did not have an effect on the problem.
I did notice this, though… I thought it was working on my Android phone. I mean it was working on my phone. Long story short: I realized it was working on my phone using the TVGO feature because I had a VPN running on my phone. If I disconnect from the VPN, Stream won’t load. If I reconnect to VPN, Stream loads, using the TVGO feature. Not being a network genius, more like a network dummy, this would lead one to believe that Stream, and xfinity online sites, all of a sudden, don’t like my local network. But I have zero clue what to do about this. Anyone got a suggestion?

And… Just turned VPN on on my iPad and was able to log into Stream, having to authenticate using xfinity.com, and Stream’s working using the TVGO option. So… I must assume that Comcast has flipped a switch somewhere that is preventing me from accessing xfinity sites from my home network, networking provided by… Comcast/Xfinity. What the heck is going on here?
