Xfinity stream screensaver issue

Xfinity stream screensaver issue

A space picture comes on the sound stays on how do I make this picture not ever appear and the TV just stays on as normal

Hi, @user_9602e1. Thank you for reaching out and posting this great question. I believe you are referring to the Screen Saver on X1. Currently, you aren't able to disable this feature, but you can adjust the settings if needed. This will give you more active time before it kicks in. You can pick from 15 minutes, 30 minutes or 5 hours. I'll post the steps below and you can also find step here for your reference: https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/x1-screen-saver

 

Screen Saver Settings for Your X1 TV Box

Learn how to set your screen saver for Xfinity X1 using the On-Screen Guide.

Note: The screen saver can't be disabled, but it won't appear while the Pandora app is open and streaming music.

Adjust When Your Screen Saver Appears

To access Device Settings:

  1. Press the xfinity button on the remote.
  2. Highlight Settings (the gear icon) and press OK.

  3. Use the down arrow on the remote to highlight Device Settings and press OK.

  4. Use the down arrow on the remote to highlight Screen Saver and press OK.

  5. Highlight Screen Saver Starts After and press OK.

    Please note that you can preview your new screensaver by selecting Screen Saver Preview.
  6. Use the up arrow or down arrow button to highlight when the screen saver will start - 5 minutes, 15 minutes, 30 minutes or 5 hours. Press OK.

  7. Press Exit to finish.
