Xfinity Stream Saver + Apple TV activation not working

I purchased the Xfinity Stream Saver package and have been able to activate Netflix and Peacock with no issues, but cannot get Apple TV to activate through Xfinity's link. When I click on it, it takes me to the app but says "cannot connect". I've restarted all devices, unpaired repaired, and updated airplay settings. Internet connection is fine and all devices are on the same network. I've spent no less than 10 hours chatting and calling with Xfinity customer service about this and no one can give me any sort of resolution. Anyone else experiencing this? I'm about to cancel my services.

I've tried everything the thinking heads have suggested to activate Apple+ after purchasing xfinity's streaming package and they don't work.

I installed the Xfinity app, uninstalled and reinstalled. 

I went to my Xfinity account and  checked on Apple+ and they said it was active.

I went to Apple+ using the Xfinity voice on their remote and got a code to utilize after connecting to Apple+ to utilize after signing into link.apple.com. No matter what was done, when Apple+ was connected I was still asked to purchase for $9.99 a month.

Netflix works and Peacock set ups work. I to am at the point of cancelling everything and going with Verizon.

Hello  user_ohvom0 , thanks so much for reaching out here on our Xfinity Forums and letting us know what's going on with the Apple TV+.  You mentioned you went to your Xfinity Account and checked this was active, but have you gone through the Xfinity Apple TV+ Activation Page as suggested in the post above as well? This is the best way to fully activate the StreamSaver portion for Apple TV+.
