Xfinity stream not working on app

I am having the same problem with Xfinity stream that another user a year ago had. I can use the app on my phone and it works perfectly, but on my roku device it doesn't. It asks for a purchase plan after I login and verify. The only other user I have seen with exact issues was asked to login and dm the employee responding. Help please
