Xfinity Stream is asking to connect to home WiFi (I am connected)

Trying to watch certain live channels on my laptop and seeing message to "connect to home wifi" when I already am connected to home wifi.   I logged out of app and rebooted, but that did not help.   A 4 year old post recommended "Changing Home Account" in settings in Stream, but I don't that see that option any longer.
