App just doesn't work, period ! Can watch a show for two minutes, then it freezes, then i have to back out of it and start over ! I've tried everything including adding more memory to the TV
@user_4c30cc What make and model is the TV you're having issues with? Was there a recent firmware update on that TV? Have you attempted to use an older firmware version when it was working? Are other devices having issues with the Xfinity Stream app inside the home? Was there any troubleshooting done on the modem such as a power cycle?

We've had Comcast/Xfinity coaxial cable connected boxes for 20+ years. We were told that the boxes needed to be replaced with wireless boxes @ $15 ea (x5 TV sets = $75 monthly) or we could use the Xfinity Stream app. We chose tha app. Huge mistake. We have never ever had issues like this. The streaming freezes at least 4-5 times per hour. We have Xfinity internet. I've unplugged and replugged in my TV. Checked for Samsung updates. It is current. Uninstalled and reinstalled Xfinity Stream. Disconnected the power, ethernet cord, and coaxial cable from my modem and reconnected to reboot it. NOTHING WORKS. No other apps do this. Finally, as has been mentioned here multiple times, we have 5 TV's, the main one in the family room being a 90" Samsung. That is the only one where Xfinity Stream does not function properly.
The app is absolute junk and no matter how many people report issues they don't do anything about it--and never acknowledge an issue. I finally gave up and cancelled my xfinity TV service and switched to YouTubeTV. I haven't had a freezing or buffering issue since.

user_k53gmv We don't have a link we can send. The DM option is typically available next to the bell and Xfinity logo. Do you see the Xfinity logo on the upper right-hand side of the page?

Xfinity streaming freezes all the time. Netflix, Paramount, PBS, Apple apps NEVER freeze. I have rebooted the router daily, unplugged the TV daily, reinstalled xfinity app numerous times, checked with Samsung and LG tvs we have and all work fine with ALL apps except xfinity. When will xfinity listen to the customer and start fixing their app so it works as well as Apple, Paramount, Netflix, PBS. You Tube and other apps all installed on our LG and Samsung TVs that work flawlessly. Ever time I call xfinity they blame Samsung and have me reinstall my xfinity stream or try to sell me a rental box which defeats the purpose of streaming and smart TV’s. Oh, we pay for the highest speed internet from xfinity too. We can communicate better with the space station than stream on xfinity!
Thank you for reaching out to our team here. I am sorry to hear that you are having that issue with the stream app, and I will be happy to look further into that for you. Can you send me a direct message with the full name and complete address for your service?
