xfinity stream fast forward button not accessible for in-progress recordings on LG tv.
The fast forward button appears but cannot be selected for in-progress recordings when running xfinity stream on ethernet connected LG tv, even if program has run for 30+minutes (no "catch-up"). This change happened sometime in the last month for recordings on multiple channels. I have hard reset tv, uninstalled and reinstalled app with no success. If viewing xfinity stream on wifi at home, I cannot access in-progress recordings online through google chrome because "I'm not on my home network" (although I am) - so I cannot test the fast forward on a different device.

Update: After disabling VPN, I can access and adjust time position on in-progress recordings via xfinity stream on google chrome on computer - advance 30 seconds forward as well as moving time slide. So appears to be issue on LG tv only - possibly software update (LG or Xfinity) rendering function incompatible.

Hello @user_1g37kz, thank you for taking the time to leave a post. I can certainly understand how frustrating this must be, especially when a feature that was previously working for in-progress recordings suddenly stops functioning despite your efforts to troubleshoot it. Thank you for providing the troubleshooting steps you've already taken. To help us narrow down the cause, was there a recent software or firmware update on your LG TV before this issue began?

To update:
Posted issue on forum - LG and Samsung Tv Xfinity Apps do not allow access to FF button, Rewind function only jumps a few seconds back, no resume option only restart - all for in-progress recordings only. XStream on computer/phone does work with normal functionality for in-prog rcrdngs: 15 sec back, 30 sec fwd, slide to any point recorded.
Response so far:
Forum mod: No resolution, Send Dm to Tech Support
Tech Support: No resolution, Forwarding issue to Advanced Tech Support
Advanced Tech Support: No resolution, referring to in-home Tech visit
Technician visit: We don't really deal with XStream issues, according to our logs XStream does not permit FF for in-progress recordings. "It did b4, and It does on computer" "Really, show me" Hmm - interesting. Will refer to supervisor for follow-up: you'll be contacted.
Presently awaiting supervisor action, referral to XStream software group - not holding breath.
After 1 week - no respones received. Multiple others have noted same issue -nothing to do but wait until the issue rises in priority for TSupport to fix I guess.
