Xfinity stream broken on Roku on all TV’s in house

I am getting an error on my Roku devices and TVs that can’t seem to load the Xfinity stream. It basically tells you “this device can only access Xfinity stream on your in-home Xfinity WiFi. Use the app in your smartphone, tablet or laptop to watch on the go anytime you like” (error: TVAPP-00101).

I spent over an hour and a half on the phone with Xfinity technical assistance, and they had me on hold several times, and still told me that they couldn’t fix it. They were going to be rebooting my system and said it could take about two hours and that a representative will call me to see if it was working. That was at 12 noon today and it is now 7:32 PM Works. But I’m sure the bill will arrive on time and they will expect me to pay it on time.

@user_mc8fw1  Thanks for posting. That message means the device is not connecting to the home wifi. Be sure to connect to your Xfinity Home wifi and not the hotspot. We can see the directions here https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/troubleshooting-stream-portal-and-app.

Same issue. Call in support and online is horrendous. $300 per month for this, ridiculous.
