Xfinity stream banner never updates

I don’t want to have to uninstall and reinstall for the banner of programming to update. Why can’t there be a restart option that would reboot it in the settings area? I’m using Fire Sticks and it happens on all of them. At some point no channel programming will come up, I’ll uninstall then reinstall, the banner updates then for the next month or two the banner never updates unless the app gets frozen then kicks me out. Then the banner will update when I go back in. I restart/reboot option would save people so much time over uninstall/reinstall, plus it would update the banner. I’m on gig speeds with high end mesh routers. This has been happening at 2 different homes at this point.

Hi there, thank you so much for this information on the Xfinity Streaming Banner. Do you have another device that is not fire stick and try the to see if the Xfinity Streaming banner has the same issue?

@XfinityRoberto​ this is an app issue on all of my fire sticks. I do not plan on buying different streaming devices just because of this issue. I’m just asking for a refresh/restart option to be added to the app.
