Xfinity stream app

I wonder if buffering would stop on xfinity stream app if I bought a roku box and download xfinity stream app on that. I have lg tv and I get buffering all the time during sports. Any thoughts on the roku box idea?

@Joeyg53 Thank you, we would love to help out! For my own personal use we have roku sticks on several TVs and a few Roku TV's. We have not had trouble with streaming any content. I don't have personal with LG to compare, but a good way to check if the buffering is specific to the LG is to check on a mobile device like your phone or a tablet. That would let you know if it's a connection issue, stream issue, app issue or the device causing the buffering. 

Do you watch any other apps through your LG? Has the buffering always been an issue or is it more recent? Can you uninstall and reinstall the app and check if the TV's software is updated? A few ideas on things I would check to see if it's a simple fix.  

Do you have connection issues or a lag on any other internet connected devices?
