Xfinity Stream App Restarting after ads

When casting to my TV the On demand shows will restart after every ad. If I don't cast it's perfectly fine.  

I Googled the issue and see somebody else had this issue and year ago and it was never resolved. 

Making a standalone app like LG has instead of relying on casting from a phone would solve a lot of issues.

wb650. Thank you for bringing this to our attention, and I completely understand how frustrating that must be. If the issue only occurs while casting and works normally when watching directly on your mobile device, it does seem related to the casting experience rather than the On Demand content itself. To help us investigate further, could you let us know which device you're casting from, the casting method you're using (Chromecast, AirPlay, built-in TV casting, etc.), and whether this happens with all On Demand programs or only certain ones? Also, have you tried restarting the TV, mobile device, and Xfinity Stream app, as well as checking for any available app or device updates?
