Xfinity stream app on roku missing channels

Xfinity stream app missing channels on my roku players and on the Xfinity steam for android on my phone.

Update, my South Florida Xfinity stream is back up. I did speak with customer service at Xfinity, they said they were aware of a problem. It would be nice if they would alert the community to known issues as opposed to leaving us guessing.

@user_d0aaa1​ , I wish I could say the same. Also in South FL and my Xfinity Stream now says my plan doesn’t include any channels (wrong, I’m paying for a LOT of channels). Really not happy this happened on a holiday. I want a refund for lack of service.

This issue cropped up in the Houston area this afternoon. The audio issue has been around for several weeks but as of today we only show 6 channels.

@JayBird94​ I'm not an expert, but it sure seems like they are performing some sort of scheduled maintenance or something that is causing a rolling outage. The way it's migrating across the country can't be a coincidence.

Both my kids TCL smart Roku TV and a separate TV with a Roku device connected are not showing all channels as of 8pm on 11/24/2022.  It was fine yesterday.

Same here with my two TCL's no channels.. On my Toshiba's with amazon operating system .. the Xfinity stream app has a few of the "on the go" channels.. but nothing else.. the 3 TNT channels that were there the last couple days have disappeared now..  I am in Naples, Florida area.

I am in Michigan and all day today all I get is the weather channel and TNT on my Roku in the Xfinity stream app.  What is the deal????

Hello, @allplay and thread. This is a known issue that our Engineers continue to work on. It has been resolved for some. For others, we have been having success with a temporary solution by sending out an Entitlement signal. Is this issue still ongoing for you? If it is, we will get a signal sent over.

I am having the same issue on Roku stand-alone and Roku on my TCL tv. Channels are also missing from the stream app on my iPhone. On the Roku, I get the sports channels (espn, nfl network, etc. and TBS and USA) nothing else.

Same here. Only getting some sports channels and tbs and usa. This is chicago area and is happening in Roku and iPhone stream app.

Chicago area.  Same issue here.  Was working around 8 am this morning; by noon very limited channels (ESPN, Sports Chicago, TBS, USA, CNBC, Weather Channel) on both Roku TVs.  These appear to be the channels that are NOT "TV Go" channels.  Unable to set recordings from web / app for any of the channels that are "TVGO".  

Additional issue:  Unable to set recordings on DVR either from the app(s) or from the cable box.  Program recordings appear to set but do not show up in scheduled recordings.  

Xfinity - what's the status and when will it be resolved?

I apologize for the inconvenience as you are getting Streaming issue, this is known issue and every customer getting same issue. Our advance technical team is working continuously to fix the issue as soon as possible and estimated time in around 4 hours it will be fix and you will also get notification once the issue fixed.

I have this same issue in TN, started yesterday, on all my Roku channels and my iPhone. Deleted app, reinstalled app, reset modem, ran update on app, nothing is working

Going on day 2 of the same issue with having the weather channel, NFL Network & a hand few more. Location is in the land of Lincoln.

Having same issue using Roko.  The only live channel I get is the weather channel.  Android phone appears to be working now.

Yeah, I'm in West Palm Beach, Fl, my 3 Roku's at home don't have channels showing since yesterday. I tried removing the app on one of the TVs, then reinstalled and logged back in, still nothing. On my phone, the Xfinity stream app works.

Homer Township, IL area having the same issue with Roku streaming as-of this morning.  Seems to be a rolling issue that started out East...were you guys rolling-out an update or something??

We are aware of issues with the Xfinity Stream app with channels. Our team is working to resolve this as quickly as we can. We like to report, that for some the problem has been resolved for them after deleting the app, power cycling the device, and then reloading app. This resets and refreshes the app. Can you let me know if you are still experiencing the issues?
