Xfinity stream app on roku missing channels

Xfinity stream app missing channels on my roku players and on the Xfinity steam for android on my phone.

Same problem here, South Florida. I'm getting a couple ESPN channels, CNBC, USA, TBS, and Telemundo. That's it.  I'm missing at least 100 channels. This is on Xfinity stream and my app. The cable box works fine but that's only on one television.

Whatever it took to fix these other regions, can you please perform the same fix for Comcast in South Florida?

Hey @user_330988 I gtruly apologize for the ongoing troubles accessing our Xfinity Stream app and all channels available. I show on our end this has been resolved. Are you able to access all channels availabld to you?

I can only see TNT, no other channels showing up on roku on any of my tv’s, through live xfinity stream.  Main box is ok, all roku’s messed up.  iPhone is fine

Hi, @user_955d06 and thread. This is an issue that our Engineering team is aware of and working on. The Engineers have been able to get some customers back up and running already. Is this issue still persisting in your home?

No channels except for three Weather Channel options in my Roku Xfinity Stream app.

 

If I open the Xfinity stream app on my phone, those are the only numbered channels. The rest are listed as TVGO, which the filters list as Available out of home.

I've been having this issue since the last xfinity stream app update which was about a month ago, give or take. I have most of my channels favorited so it wasn't much of a problem until I went to put a unfavorited channel on. The majority of the channels are not in the guide. For example I'll be on channel 823 TNT and if I go through the guide it will only go down to the 850's, then skip to the 3000's. I found a workaround if you use the "Find a Channel" option when press the "*" button. You can search for them by entering the name or channel number in manually. Also been experiencing a ton of freezing issues as well. Sadly this app performed better when it was still in "beta". This needs to be fixed.

In Chicago... only getting tnt and TVGO channels list.  Happening on Roku, Firestick, Samsung, Laptop, and Android.

Some customers have been back up and running already, are you still experiencing an issue?

I used 1 Roku on my room and no issues.

I went to my living room and No Live TV is Available on my Roku.

I have 1 xFinity box and that one works.

I'm missing almost all my live tv channels in the steaming app. under all channels only 17, 547, 920, 1080, 1095 & 1215 are available on my Roku devices (4) as of yesterday 11-23-2022. I'm located in the Rockford IL market. I called support and they blamed the ROKU sticks after running me through hoops. logging out and back in does nothing. reinstalling the app does nothing and even reset one of my devices and reloaded everything... nothing. And of course the usual modem and router restart steps... that did nothing. This is clearly an Xfinity issue that just needs to be resolved ASAP. Obviously customer service doesn't have a clue. I find it rather interesting that they pick a big holiday weekend to roll out changes. I tried using the search mechanism inside the app for missing channels and they are still not accessible.  

Only a few days ago my steaming app's appearance changed. but maybe that's Just a coincidence. It really doesn't matter... PLEASE XFINITY please please please... Will just fix this problem for us?

I tried the streaming Xfinity app again about an hour later and it appears the problem has been resolved !!! -- Thank you Xfinity!!

@NetFXR​ So after your 'Will just fix the problem for us? you're saying yours is fixed now? I have not done the logging out, reinstalling etc as it seems none of that has worked for anyone. When I spoke to someone last night they didn't know of any issues with Roku but put in a ticket for my issue.

Xfinity Streaming just went out for me at 12:30pm. Just public access now. This is the 3rd time this month. 

To be clear this has nothing to do with the device you're on and it doesn't affect the normal box service. Rebooting & re-downloading the app does nothing. This is 100% on Xfinity's side.

Also having the same issue, located in FL. Can’t believe Xfinity let this continue happening after over a week of reports on this thread. No Thanksgiving football for us.

Hi, @wildman and thread. Our Engineers continue to work on a permanent solution. For some folks, this issue is already resolved. If this is persisting we have been having some success sending an Entitlement signal. Please let us know if you still can't see the channels and we will get that sent over.

Xfinity app on Roku not showing any channels and seems to have lost any idea of what my plan allows.  This is in Lansing MI for the last two days.  Today is Thanksgiving, no streaming the Lions. thanks comcast.  This is definitely on your end and not fixed at all.

@dslabby Thank you for reaching out. I can understand how this is frustrating. We have been made aware of an issue with the app and out engineers are working to get this resolved. Please let us know if you are still having issues with it.
