Xfinity Stream app not showing LiveTV channels, only TV GO channels

There is a post here in the forum which I copied my Subject line from.  I have almost an identical issue.  On my android phone the xfinity stream app shows my local channels just fine.  I van watch Chicago CBS channel 2, NBC channel 5, ABC channel 7, WGN channel 9.  The xfinity app on my 2025 LG TV only shows a few channels and NONE of my local channels.  CBS, NBC, ABC, WGN etc. Please help

Good evening @synwave7, and thank you for reaching out on our Community Forums with your Stream app issues. I see that you stated the app is not playing live channels on your LG TV. Are you experiencing any error codes or messages? May I also please confirm that the app is up-to-date?

@XfinityAlyssaA Yes, the app is up to date and there is no error.  The channels just aren't there to choose from.  CBS, ABC, Fox I dont see them at all to choose to watch.  The app seems to be working fine other than that.  So, again no error the channels just aren't there as an option.

@synwave7 Hmmm, I'd like to get a closer look at things on our end and dive a little deeper. Please send us a DM to Xfinity Support with your full name and address to get started.
To send a direct message:
Click "Sign In" if necessary
Click the "Direct Message" icon
Click the "New message" (pen and paper) icon
The "To:" line prompts you to "Type the name of a person". Instead, type "Xfinity Support" there.
As you are typing a drop-down list appears. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
A "Xfinity Support" graphic replaces the "To:" line.
Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window
Press Enter to send it
