xfinity stream app not recognizing it's on home internet
I have been using the xfinity stream app for years. On a Samsung smart TV and several Roku sticks. The last few days I have received Error TVAPP-00101 indicating the device can only access xfinity stream on in home WiFi. I have not changed anything (my router is the same one that worked fine last week). I have rebooted, restarted, reconnected and everything else troubleshooting recommends from other threads. I have confirmed the devices are connected to my home internet wifi and password (I've done all of this several times).
For the price I pay per month for my service, I expect better - or at lease a human to discuss issues like this. Again, I have already reconnected, re-booted router, disconnected devices, signed out and signed in as well as reinstalled the app. Please let me know if there's anything else I can do.

I wasted my time via online text chat, no solution. It seems the better option is calling Xfinity and hope you get someone who is aware of the issue people are having and can fix it for you. Would be great if there was an official post from Xfinity on how people are getting it fixed so more of us aren't just wasting time repeating the same steps that don't work.
This is a Xfinity issue not customer issue due to equipment or what they have done. No one can fix this themselves, Xfinity is the only one.
It seems that Xfinity reps that just reboot your modem don't fix it. It needs a modem refresh or data sent to the modem then a reboot.

Xfinity sucks. Wifi is terrible and roku doesnt app even recognize its on its own wifi. “Check to make sure you’re wifi is on.” Yeah no duh
