Xfinity Stream App "not found" in the app store on one of my Samsung TV's

I have several Samsung TV's bought the last 5 years, and I just loaded the XFinity streaming app on all of them... except one. On one of them, when I search in the TV's "app store" the XFinity Stream app isn't showing up as available. Based on my model (UN82MU8000) and software version (T-KMAKUC-1401.1. BT - S), it should be compatible with the app. How do I get this rectified?

user_wz1mjx Welcome to our community forum! Let's make sure you can load the Xfinity Stream app on all your TVs and enjoy your content. Does your Samsung TV have more than 2 GB of available memory and built in 2018 or later? You can find more information about setting up the Stream app here.

Thanks for the response Emily! I need a little help with your questions...

 - I don't know when the TV was built-- is that something that you can tell on your end from the model number (UN82MU8000) and/or serial number (06T43CAJ702811A)?

 - I don't see where in the settings I can identify the amount of available memory. Can you tell me where to find that?

What I find odd is that I was able to see and download the Xfinity Stream app on all four of our other Samsung TV's that were bought at the same time as this one, and those other four are all running an older software version (1350) whereas the TV that can't find the Xfinity Stream app is running newer software (1401).

Thanks for your help.

user_wz1mjx I was able to look up the specifications of that TV and it looks like it's a 2017 model, which would explain why the Xfinity Stream app is not appearing when you try to download it. Would you like to explore options to get a cable box so you can enjoy your favorite shows and movies on this TV?

Shoot. Thank you, no, I understand the other ways to stream Xfinity through methods like a cable box or AppleTV. I was just hoping not to have to go with one of those options since they cost more money.

user_wz1mjx I'm glad we could get to the bottom of this together! You can also look into options to cast your mobile screen to your TV if available. How are your Xfinity services doing? Are you household needs being met for TV, Internet, and Home Security?
