Xfinity Stream App has ZERO live TV channels on any devices and yes they are connected to home network.

@XfinityBenjaminM after four plus hours on the phone, I was told I never had this channels and will never have them under this plan. Completely ridiculousness. That’s why I signed up for the service over a year ago. Been watching those channels for 13 months. The only reason I got the package was cause of the live local channels offered. Now to be told I never had those channels. The “explanations” I’ve received are, it was a glitch, it was a one week promo, I must have Hulu, I must have another cable service….. just ridiculousness. It’s none of the above. They were part of my channel lineup and they just disappeared in the beginning of September 2026. Why do I keep getting the runaround? I purchased a brand new firestick, even tho it didn’t work on my Samsung smart tv or my iPhone. My neighborhood just got new hardware in the outside box. I got a new gateway from y’all. It still wasn’t resolved! Then to be on the phone for over four hours and constantly told those channels were never in my plan. I sure you are going to get as dizzy as I’ve felt dealing with this, just by reading it. I’m so frustrated, confused and blown away by my experience.

@user_8f2eb4 my viewing is all done at my home. And the list you provided is the current list. The package I signed up for in August 2025, had live local channels in the offering. It is THE ONLY reason I signed up. Those channels were included and I watched them for 13 months. I know what I signed up for and paid for, for over a year. They just disappeared last month. I am not the only person with this issue.

@user_r9074g experiencing same issues started mid-August. I just wanted to post actual information from Xfinity website as they insisted that I never had the ability to utilize the XFINITY Stream App while not connected to your personal XFINITY network. They also insisted that "Amazon Firesticks were never meant to work away from home."

Then finally they admitted saying "Thank you for your patience while I took a deeper look. We do have a document that mentioned Fire TV devices are eligible to access TV GO channels on the Steam app while connected to different WiFi networks. Our team can escalate this to our advanced repair team...." Along with saying on Sept 1st "Good morning and happy Tuesday! I did check on your ticket, it looks like we had to open an additional support ticket for engineering to further investigate the error you are having. We are still monitoring the ticket and will continue to follow up with you once we have any new updates to share. Thank you for your patience."

They continue to tell me they're working on it.

Unlike you I have no choice to walk away and find another source as I am only 1 of nearly 2,000 homes ( NOT AN APARTMENT BUILDING AS XFINITY SAID I WAS once I mentioned I was going to request a credit to my account for lack of service since mid-August). So, I will wait... no choice except to watch what's happening here and voicing my opinion every so often.
