Xfinity Stream App Freezes

I use the Xfinity Stream App on multiple Apple TVs.  When playing back recordings, the video constantly freezes but the audio continues. There are several complaints about this on the Forum, but I see no resolutions. Looking at the Forum, it appears that this happens on every platform where the Stream app is deployed.  This is really annoying since I cannot playback many of my recordings.  I cannot believe that an issue that is this widespread is going unfixed.

@user_ff21c6 thank you for reaching out to through forums, that experience would be super frustrating. There are some streaming requirements with Xfinity Stream app and our partner streaming devices. This helpful link https://www.xfinity.com/support/articles/xfinity-tv-app-requirements has those operating system requirements. Is everything within parameters with your devices?

@XfinityDaisy​ Thanks for your reply.  There is no specific mention of Apple TV in the requirements. It says that version 7.5.0 or later is required.  I am running the Xfinity Stream app version 1.3.0.241 on my Apple TV.  I have downloaded it twice to insure that the version is correct.

@user_ff21c6 thank you for checking that out! Do you encounter these playback issues on all recordings when trying to view them?

@XfinityDaisy​ Not all recordings.  I record a lot of events on the Tennis Channel and NBC Sports and that is where I encounter the problems.

Are these recordings working fine when you watch them on the X1 equipment?
