Xfinity beta app firestick

I’ve had the xfinity beta app on my amazon firestick for the last couple weeks. As of yesterday I cannot access any live tv (HD or SD) channels and all of my recordings don’t show up. Is there a way to fix this? I did not have this issue when I first set-up the app on my firestick.

@user_c1ebcc, thank you for reaching out over Xfinity Forums. I am sorry to hear you have had trouble using the Xfinity Beta app on the Firestick. I enjoy watching TV at the end of the day to relax so I'd be frustrated if my TV features weren't working. I am sorry to hear this has been an ongoing issue. I would be happy to get this resolved, so you can watch your shows with no interruption.

 

What troubleshooting steps have you already tried? Have you uninstalled the app and reinstalled? Have you attempted to reset your modem? Your time is valuable, and I certainly would hate to make you go through troubleshooting from the beginning again.

I am trying to use the XFinity app on a TV connected to my Xfinity account through an Amazon firestick.  Every day I go through a nightmare trying to connect to my XFinity TV stations.  All that comes up is an app selection.  I can get to Netflix just fine, but every time I try to bring up the XFinity app I only get a blank screen or occasionally an "Unknown error" message.  I have been able to bring up the Xfinity TV channel list, just like the one that appears on TV's using the cable box, but it happens only after I have pressed all the remote control buttons for ab out fifteen minutes, apparently at random because I can never get the seams sequence of magic keystrokes in the right order.  What am I doing wrong, besides trashing the whole thing and stitching to Dish?
