xfinity app say not on home wifi

I am in my home and using my Amazon tablet connected to my home wifi. The xfinity app on the tablet will play some channels, but on some, it says it cannot play because I am not connected to my home wifi. Those same channels play fine on my desktop computer connected to the same wifi. There have been no problems playing these channels on the tablet until today.
