WTHR-Indianapolis shows didn't show up on Stream

Indianapolis customer, just got back from a trip to Anchorage.

Tuesday 7/13 I had four shows scheduled to record on the local NBC affiliate; all of them were recorded on the DVR, but none were made available to me on xfinity stream app. Shows I recorded on other channels, however, were just fine.   I recorded two shows on that Channel on Wed 7/14 while traveling home, and they showed up.

Maybe the fact that the NBC "TVGo" channel switched over to the Anchorage affiliate had something to do with it?

Hello and thank you for taking the time to reach out to us here on our Xfinity Forums! I'm truly sorry to hear that you weren't able to watch all of your recordings while you were out of town. I would be super frustrated. Have you already tried the following steps?

1. Log on to your app click the 3 lines in the top left corner, scroll to the bottom select xfinity stream.

2. Scroll to the bottom, double tap the version, click clear device - specific settings. This will log you out and clear everything.

3. When you go to login, if you phone / tablet saves your info like it does mine select sign in as someone else and manually enter your information.

If not please try them and let me know if you are able to view the recordings.

Hi Billie,

By that time I had already come home and watched all the shows on my DVR, so this wasn't really a fixable error.

Happily, I went to California the next month and there were no issues retrieving shows from WTHR while I was out there.

@lbman, thank you for taking time out of your Saturday morning to let us know! I'm so glad you were able to watch your shows while in California! I love the Stream app for that very reason- when I traveled to Houston, I was able to download content to my phone to watch in-flight (without having to pay their WiFi charges!), and still keep up on my favorite shows while I was there.

If we can help with anything else, no matter where you're traveling, just let us know, and we'll be glad to help. Thank you for being the very best part of the Comcast family, and have a great weekend!
