Why Linux OS incompatibility - I use that OS on my machines!

Why do I have to stream only on Windows or Macs? I have Linux Operating System and all the browsers available on other platforms - why not allow Linux compatibility for streaming?

This is very unfair, there is no technical reason why you cannot allow this compatibility - please do so!

I am past frustrated with this issue, Comcast has absolutely NO technical reason why they are not supporting streaming on Linux - all my home machines are on that platform - by choice!!! - I should not have to be forced to change platform to Mac or Windows to stream content, I have all the same browsers on those platforms on Linux as well, streaming should be platform agnostic Comcast, this is stupid! -  and I have been a Comcast customer for years, they need to respond to this!

I've found you can stream some things on Linux. In particular, if you want to watch ESPNHD, or TNT, or NBCSN, you  can navigate to those websites first, then login to xfinity.net fromthere, and it works just fine.  I have TNT streaming in another tab right now. using google-chrome on Linux Mint 20. The primary thing that seems to keep streaming from working on xfinity is their browser compatibility check. They don't fix it because there simply aren't enough of us.  The ironic thing is that it actually works a lot better on Linux than it does on my Windows7 laptop.

Firefox has a plug-in/add on called user:agent switcher, it lets you spoof your browser and os info, pick something Comcast likes and stream  away
