Why do channels switch to high numbers?

When I go to a specific channel from the guide (i.e. Scince Channel is 212) it magically changes to a high number (i.e.1451). Then to change to another channel, I have to scroll endlessly back to the normals numbers for channels.

zimbrich That is likely you changing from standard to the HD channels which is marked as preferred in the settings of the device. Do you prefer not viewing your networks with the best resolution automatically? You can turn that off if you wish through the box settings.
