Why did Comcast feel the need to break (I mean update) the Streaming App?

Why did Good old COMCRAP brake, (I mean updated) the Streaming App, which basically stinks. I liked and enjoyed the flexibility on my streaming TV's (have 3 that stream and 3 that use the wireless boxes) of being able to: - Select All Channels, - Select Favorites, and so on!  Now I have to scroll through too many channels to get what I want to watch. Used to have CNN and MS-Now grouped next to each other to quickly switch between them... Not anymore.  I've been a customer for over 36 years, first in South Jersey and now in Delaware. The UPDATE STINKS.  Should have been given a choice to Update or Not, and have the update clearly defined.
