Try the following, I believe if you're using a phone adapter the DRM doesn't allow you to use the hardwired connection (lightning to HDMI/USBC to HDMI)
Phone --> Chromecast --> Projector
Computer --> Projector

I tried to use iPad and iPhone with the Xfinity app through projector and using HDMI to lightening adapter along with quality HDMI cord and all I get is sound. No picture. When choosing all other apps both picture and sound work. Only Xfinity app, even on purchased movies, will not allow picture.
