Why Can't I Get Xfinity Stream App

I have a second home in Tate Georgia. You cannot get Xfinity Internet in Tate, I have to use Ellijay Telephone for internet. So with a Streaming device why won't it allow me to sign in to my Xfinity account and use the Xfinity Stream App to watch TV through my Xfinity account in the Tate home.. Thanks

Hello Terry0327, you should be able to sign in to the Xfinity Stream app anywhere. Have you confirmed if this is only impacting one or multiple devices within your Georgia home? If so, can you please confirm your devices meet the app requirements? You can learn more about those requirements with this Link.

I called Xfinity and they told me since they offer no services at the Tate Home location I could not stream the television stations I have in Marietta. I will try again when I am at the Tate location.

Terry0327, You won't have full access to the Stream app features, since you're not on your Xfinity network. But you shoule be able to sign in. Were you getting a specific error message when attempting to sign in?

I understand about the features not being available but it would seem if I sign in with my password it would open up the Xfinity App and I could use it to watch the Xfinity TV stations I have on my Xfinity plan. Maybe the internet I have in Tate will not support the app but it supports YouTube TV AT A COST OF $80 A MONTH.
