Why can't I activate Peacock Premium after I changed my Xfinity plan

I have had Xfinity for years. I also had Peacock thru Xfinity. Recently I redid my plan with Xfinity. It once again comes with Peacock Premium. I received the Activate premium email, however when I try to activate it, I get the message that I already have Peacock. If I go into my Xfinity account, it says I must activate Peacock by April 1 or around there. If I talk to Peacock, they say to contact Xfinity. If I talk to Xfinity, they say talk to Peacock. The entire sign up setup puts you in a loop

When you originally signed up through XFINITY, did you sign up on one of our set-top boxes like in this link here?
