When will the Xfinity App be updated to work on the 3rd Gen Apple TV?

You would think with AI technologies and the simplicity of making apps today, Xfinity would wake up and correct their app to have it run on premium devices, such as; 3rd Gen Apple TV devices, Google streaming devices, and not just on their cheap Xumo devices. Is there a plan to update the Xfinity app? I wonder if they realize if they did this they would increase revenue with increased subscriptions to the NOW stream service. UGH!!!!
