Unable to stream

Suddenly my xfinity.com/stream is no longer working. Nothing happens when I click on any channel. I have tried both my usual Chrom browser as well as Safari on my Mac.

@GordonF This is a know issue right now. Incognito is the temporary solution. But users on other threads have reported it working normally again today if you want to try again.

@XfinityMatthew You are wrong. Incognito mode does not work. And it may work intermittently, but it is not permanently fixed. As of August 19, 2025 Xfinity streaming from any browser on any laptop is STILL BROKEN!!

Hi user_hquczx! Sorry to hear you were still having issues accessing Xfinity Stream on your laptop. As stated, using Incognito mode was a temporary fix. It seems that some progress has been made on the issue since you posted. Can you confirm that you're still running into issues when accessing the Xfinity Stream website?

I know some think this is fixed, but I can assure you that as of August 19, 2025 Xfinity streaming from any browser on any laptop is STILL BROKEN!!

Some of you are posting that it's fixed, and while I do agree that it does work intermittently, it is definitely not fixed permanently. I was able to watch last night for 2 hours, but then I tried to fire it up today and all I get are a bunch of error messages. I'm inserting images of the errors I got today, very similar to all the errors I've been getting. As in the past, I couldn't even log in to make a post to this thread. I had to make this update on my mobile device.

Xfinity engineers seem to be clueless and why isn't this a higher priority?

August 21 and my xfinity stream channels are working in my Firefox browser again.
I'm guessing the post by user_it4eos finally got to someone capable of recognizing what his developer tools revealed.
Only took them a month!

Someone pushed bad code or removed something on the back end.

9/9/25. Xfinity stream still won't start in Safari (latest) on MacBook Pro. Just purple screen attempting to start up. Stream works okay on Chrome.

user_58h672 This was a known issue that should be fixed now. Clear you cache and cookies in Safari and try again. Let us know if that fixes it.

I'm still seeing that some think this is fixed, but I can assure you that as of September 13, 2025 Xfinity streaming from any browser on any laptop is STILL BROKEN!! It will work intermittently and maybe even for a couple of hours, or maybe using incognito mode for a while, but eventually you will get some type of streaming error.

@XfinityMatthew, is there any timeline for when this problem is going to be permanently fixed?

Hello user_hquczx is this Xfinity Stream app issue still a concern  for you? This was addressed over the weekend, and the fix should now be rolled out to all devices.

Good afternoon user_58h672. Have you cleared the cookies and cache on the browsers, or tried incognito mode when trying to use the Xfinity Stream?

From one machine on my network only, I am unable to use Xfinity Stream. After logging in , I can go to the guide, but the channels don't load. It works from every other machine on my network. Ive removed/re-installed all of my browsers and it still fails

Incognito/Private mode tried

Xfinity equipment restarted

Chrome, Firefox, Brave browsers all re-installed, with no luck

Cookies/cache cleared on all browsers including Edge
