Unable to Access FOX, CBS and ABC

Since yesterday I cannot access FOX, CBS and ABC channels  in my amazon firestick tv through the xfinity stream app. The message prompted Subscription Required::12012 Your subscription does not include this channel. Please choose another channel. All other TVGO channels are working just fine. Why am I having this isse now?

Moral of the story is that they have no clue why..It’s free local channels. 
Basically we can get all paid subscription channels along with NBC which is a local news channel, but the big other three CBS, ABC and FOX lol. 
Just fix it already Xfinity, it’s worked since the beginning with these channels and then suddenly these channels have to be “In-Home” lol..

Ask yourself this question Xfinity, “why can people get NBC, but not CBS, ABC and FOX”?

It's not even just in home. They only don't work on mobile regardless if you are on wifi or not

Same issue here.    My FOX, ABC, and CBS local channels are not working on the apps on my phone and computer, and fire tv.  Only NBC local and the cable networks are working on the stream apps.  This made me decide to subscribe to the xfinity internet  service, even though I have at&t fiber as my internet provider.  But I may have to cancel the xfinity internet if my brother and sister won't let me cancel the at&t fiber.

@timothyq868​ your internet service provider has no bearing on this issue. Don't give xfinity more money for their sub par services

I'm having the same issues using a Firestick. I'm on the phone now with Xfinity and they have no clue.

Hopefully their engineering team can resolve their ticket. Very frustrating as this worked in the past.

Also I used to get our at home local news channel when I went to ABC, CBS or NBC on the Xfinity Stream app. Now when remote I get the local news channel where I'm at.

Don't know if it's an Xfinity or Firestick issue but it's frustrating as it worked great in the past.

Same problem here in Lowell Indiana    Xfinity technician told me “we got caught”. Doing what?  I pay for Xfinity in my primary home and cannot stream on my I Pad anymoreCBS FOX and ABC.     That’s totally is included in my package!  Ridiculous.   Going to You Tube TV and fast

Our engineers are diligently working on this issue. In the meantime you can watch them in home. Some stations also allow you to watch on their website or app by signing in with your TV provider. Having the same issue.  All of a sudden it says “Sorry, your Xfinity account is not authorized to view this account”. Why? Haven’t changed anything with my service. Fix!!

Stopped working again - thought the Out of Home stream was fixed this morning, and then at exactly 7 PM EST (start of new Jeopardy season) the stream kicked me out and wouldn't let me watch again. The Go channel is missing now too. Suspicious.

Update: Currently works on Website and Android app if you go to the Go channel, but on Firestick the broken channels don't even show up.

I called last week for the same issue and was on the phone with a tech from Comcast for over an hour and No resolution. I pay a lot of money every month and all I want is to watch my morning ABC. It has worked for an hour here or there but then stops working again. Is this a licencing issue between NBC/Universal/Comcast and ABC/Disney/Fox? If it is an agreement issue can you please stop making your customers, who pay way too much money for your service, suffer for it. Please before your customers and not out to get over on them.

I've had the same issue when I'm out of town.  I have found if I uninstall and reinstall the channels come back.  Sometimes I have to do it every day!

I have lost all my channels on Now tv. I had a tech come out, he did trouble shooting and nothing. He called Xfinity support, they said its due to a Streaming outage?

Been having this problem for over a month and it makes no sense. Fox, CBS, and ABC were all available to stream out of home without being on your home Wi-Fi. Now it’s been randomly taken away and it started the day before the NFL regular season started. What a joke of a company I’m not even a customer and I’d cancel my subscription if I could. Has a monopoly on the jersey area, take it from someone who worked in the industry for 5+ years. Fix your issues for customers who are forced to pay because they don’t have another provider in the area because your trash company bought every space possible 😭😭

user_2lb4ki Thank you for letting us know you are still running into an issue. We did have a know issue for watching local affilates using the TV to go to option but it has been resolved already. If you are still encoutering an error please make sure you have the most up to date version of the Xfinity stream app. If still running into an error let me know what error code or message is showing up on your end so we can better assist?
