I am having a terrible time playing back any show I have recorded - the problem is happening when I am watching 'tv' on my ipad.  It has gotten worse and now it is not working at all

@nrkl It appears that is a general error code for playback issues. Do you see that error immediately after attempting to view the recording on the iPad? Are other devices receiving that error? Are you connected to the in-home network or using another one?

I'm having the same problem, everything works at home but when I use a computer outside the home I get this TVAPP-00377.  Everything worked last week, now nothing is working outside the home when I try to watch my recordings or live tv on TV GO.

Make sure that your app and the iPad is up to date. If so, try the steps below:

  • Restart the iPad: Force-restart by pressing the volume up, then volume down, then holding the power button until the Apple logo appears.
  • Check Storage: Go to Settings > General > iPad Storage and ensure there is ample free space (at least 2-3 GB).
  • Update Apps/System: Update the TV app in the App Store and update your iPadOS in Settings > General > Software Update.
  • Toggle Internet Connection: Switch from Wi-Fi to cellular or restart your router to eliminate connection issues.
  • Close Background Apps: Swipe up from the bottom and close all open applications to free up memory.
