@user_rhmhtu A "400 Bad Request: Request Header or Cookie Too Large" error on Xfinity means that the information your browser is sending to the Xfinity website, likely in the form of cookies or other header data, exceeds the allowed size limit set by the server, causing the website to not be able to process your request properly.

What causes this error:
  • Too many cookies:
If you have a large number of cookies stored from various websites, especially if they are large in size, it can exceed the allowed header size.
  • Outdated browser cache:
Cached data can sometimes build up and contribute to a large request header.
  • Browser extensions:
Certain browser extensions may add large amounts of data to the request header.
  • Website issues:
Sometimes, the website itself may have a configuration issue causing this error.
How to fix it:
  • Clear your browser cache and cookies: This is the most common solution. Go to your browser settings and clear the cache and cookies for all websites or just the Xfinity site.
  • Try incognito mode: Open the Xfinity website in incognito mode to see if the issue persists.
  • Disable browser extensions: Try disabling any browser extensions that might be adding extra data to the request.
  • Restart your browser and device: Sometimes a simple restart can resolve the issue.
  • Check for updates: Ensure your browser and operating system are updated to the latest versions.
If the issue persists after trying these steps:
  • Contact Xfinity support:
Explain the error you are encountering and ask if there are any known issues on their end.
  • Check for other potential issues:
Consider if you have any other applications or settings that might be interfering with your internet connection.
