trouble with Streaming app

I have the app on my ipad.   It has been fine all along until last week.  I cant watch what is recorded on the DVR, I cant watch live TV, I cant watch the movies I have previously purchased.

The issue is only occurring using the xfinity stream the app on multiple devices under same account (different users under the account were tried and same results)

Does not appear to be tied to a specific device just account.

The errors include TVAPP-00209 and TVAPP-00900, both indicating a failure communicating with the content access management system.
We have already uninstalled and reinstalled the applications without success.
Please investigate the backend account entitlements, streaming authorization, account-to-service association, and provisioning status.

I have the same issue. For years I’ve been able to access all my Xfinity channels on my IPad via the Stream App/ Around noon today, many channels would not open - just the spinning dots, while other local channels did come up. That then changed and now I can only get the “To Go” channels. Like others, I have removed the App and reinstalled it and the issue remains. Assume it is not anything fixable on my end?

@user_furkxd

Thanks for reaching out to us. We do apologize for any inconvenience you're having with the Xfinity streaming app.

The TVAPP-00209 error code on the Xfinity Stream App indicates a streaming authorization or account entitlement failure, meaning the app cannot verify your permission to watch live TV or recorded content

How to Fix It

  • Sign Out and Re-authorize: Log out of the Xfinity Stream app, sign back in, and go through the re-authorization process at Xfinity Authorize.
  • Check Device Limits: Sign out of extra phones, tablets, or streaming boxes if you are streaming on too many screens at once.
  • Update Software: Check your TV or streaming device's system settings for pending firmware updates, then delete and reinstall the Xfinity Stream app.

If the error persists after reinstalling and trying the steps above, please send us a direct message including your first and last name and complete service address
