Trouble activating Peacock Premium subscription.

I am trying to activate Peacock Premium subscription that was included in my plan. However when I tried activating it from my plan but I got a message - "Your Xfinity account is already linked to another Peacock account". Searching this forum I found others with the same problem but they have been resolved through direct message. How do I proceed from here?

Hello snoo1, thank you for reaching out here in our Xfinity Community forum. I have spoken to a few customers who had the same issue you mention. They have been helped best by reaching out to Peacock Support. Follow that link and let them know what the issue you are having is. If they are unable to assist, please let us know, and we will pursue other options.

@XfinityJeffB I contacted Peacock support and they confirmed that my Premium subscription through Xfinity is already active. But on my Xfinity account the Peacock Premium subscription status shows that activation is required. When I click activate I get the message "Xfinity account is already linked to another Peacock account". So do I still need to activate the subscription or not?

Gotcha, and thanks for checking with them, @snoo1. I'd love to help with the Peacock Premium redemption issues. Please send a direct message including your full name and service address, and we can get started anytime.

How to Send Us a Direct Message:

  1. Click "Sign In" if necessary.
  2. Click the "Direct Messaging" icon or visit Xfinity Direct Messaging.
  3. Click the "New message" (pencil and paper) icon.
  4. In the "To:" line, type "Xfinity Support".
  5. As you type, a drop-down list will appear. Select "Xfinity Support" from that list.
  6. An "Xfinity Support" graphic will replace the "To:" line.
  7. Type your message in the text area near the bottom of the window.
  8. Press Enter to send it.

I am in the same situation and from I have been reading this is a problem that cannot be solved on my end and has been a problem for 2 years and still has not been addressed. I will try the DM but previous posts have said that it is sometimes not productive. People move and they have to be reset up but when they do, they lose their peacock premium and have to spend hours to figure out how to reactivate it after logging in over and over, reading posts 2 years old. There could be a simple fix of just adding a link after you get the “Your Xfinity account is already linked to another Peacock account. Here’s How to Find It”

Th
at link is not helpful after you have moved have been given a new account

user_lk30x8 Hello! Thank you for reaching out. We are sorry to hear that you're having issues with Peacock Premium. We also see your Direct Message. In the future, please wait to be invited to send a DM, as it is against our Forums Guidelines to send an Unsolicited Direct Message to an Official Xfinity Employee.

We will respond to your DM shortly, but please remember to follow the process going forward.

This is tough as it took 2 days for someone to respond to my DM.  After giving more information about myself, someone did not reply until 6 minutes later.  I found this after the fact as I don't plan to sit and wait for someone to respond after it took 2 days for my DM to be replied to.  The message I received was that a code would be sent to my email which is valid for 15 minutes.  Going back and forth on a chat direct message forum is not exactly the most efficient way of communicating to your customer.  I have no idea when someone is going to respond and when they do, they will send a code that lasts for 15 minutes which means the expectation is that I check the forum every 10 minutes all through the day and night until someone responds to me.

I have tried creating a new Peacock account with a different email but irregardless I still get the message that my Xfinity Account is already linked to another Peacock account which I have no way of finding where or what account my Xfinity account is linked to.  It's been a month since I moved and I have seen that this is a problem for many Xfinity customers after they have moved.  I was hoping I would find a solution here but all I get are slow responses and being chided by XfinityBenjaminM for sending a DM before being asked to send a DM and breaking protocol.  I was hoping that your response was more about how you were going to help me through this.

I just checked the DM and someone said they sent the code, I checked the emails that I have given them and neither has received the code.  Maybe we should send pigeons with handwritten messages to each other.
