TCM channel

Why do I have to repeatedly authenticate the TCM channel on Xfinity Stream? I've had the TCM channel for years through Xfinity, now streamed through FireStick, but this has always been a problem even before I switched to Xfinity stream from regular cable. Is there a fix for this?
