StreamSaver Apple tv issue

I successfully activated my apple tv through Xfinitys stream saver bundle and created an account with apple tv and was able to complete my verification via email with apple tv. I tried logging in a few hours later and apple tv claims the info is incorrect. I received a prompt telling me I need to create an apple id account. When I typed the email I used earlier, it said that the email is unavailable meaning my previous account creation was successful and now my account shows it is locked on Apple. I am sure there is nothing wrong on Xfinitys side of things but I submitted a request to review my account I haven't even used yet on apple and await a response. I figured I would post my issues here in case anyone else has this issue and hopefully I can share a solution if I find a solution.

Thank you for reaching out to us @user_oaht94! We have a dedicated article for activating Apple TV, Netflix, and Peacock with StreamSaver here. You mentioned the Apple account shows locked. Has Apple reached back out to you to unlock the account linked to your email?

Hello, yes! Apple was able to restore the new account I created however I had a new issue after this but found a resolution. After getting my account restored I went to test it out on Apple TV website on chrome and the website wouldn't let me interact with anything I clicked on. The issue was resolved by finding my web browser settings and deleting all data/cookies from Apple. I reloaded Apple TV and everything works again. Thanks for reaching out!

I’m glad to hear the account was unlocked and clearing cache and cookies fixed the website issue! Have a great rest of your day @user_oaht94!
