Streaming Xfinity Remotely

How can I use the xfinity app remotely while in my RV? Do I need a Roku for that? Or can I steam off my phone into the TVs? I don’t have smart TVs in the unit.

Yes while traveling.
No, to mirroring/streaming from mobile devices to a tv.
Yes from a laptop to a tv via hdmi
Roku will only work in your home

Yes that’s the best.
Roku is an in home replacement of a cable box

So my best option is to stream onto the TVs via laptop and the xfinity app? Or is there another option I’m not aware of? I thought Roku worked as long as there was a strong internet connection.

@BlakeSteen we tried it and it said you must be using your Comcast xfinity wifi in order for it to work.

Even if you stream using the pc there are channels that do not work. For certain channels you need to be on xfinity wifi. Found this out the hard way trying to stream nfl redzone when out of town.
