Streaming requires Adobe Flash, Flash being retired?

It's been in the news over the last year that Adobe Flash is being retired and the all support is ending, and I'm getting a notice when I boot my computer up from Adobe prompting me to remove Flash from my web browser (probably Firefox although I use Chrome for streaming on my computer)  what is Xfinity doing to replace the use of Flash for streaming with something else? When I mean something else, if I stream from the HBO Go website I'm not required to enable Flash so they're using an alternate method for streaming which doesn't require it so when is Xfinity going to switch to a not Flash based method for streaming to my home computer?

Comcast removed the need for Flash on their web-based Stream platform several months ago.

It still asks me for flash?  Is anyone else running into this?
