streaming playback vs recorded playback
over the last few days streaming playback quality on Xfinity TV has become terrible. picture is fuzzy and pixelated a bit. previously if it was set on "high" video quality would improve greatly.... now there is no improvement in any streaming channel, however recordings of tv shows. etc is fine. any ideas on what I'm missing here? thanks

Having the same problem. Quality was fantastic a couple of weeks ago. Now it's terrible. Chatted with customer support but they didn't have any answers.

Same here.
Video playback quality setting "high" does not function as expected. Switching to low, high, or auto results in the same low quality. Performance pro internet @240
This started a week or so ago, and I know its a problem with the xfinity site because Youtube, Amazon, and other website videos come in crystal clear.

Hello, @sharkn244. I see and a few others are having some issues with the playback quality of your content. I understand it's been going on a few weeks, and your other apps seem fine. Do you have these same issues across all devices and platforms? For example, is this occurring on the Xfinity Stream Beta App on your TV or Roku, or directly on the Xfinity Stream App?

The Video Playback Quailty has been resolved for me. I did nothing to fix this. The stream site is now working as expected for me.
