Streaming on Windows 10 uses flash problem s

With the latest Windows update edge became the last browser to ban flash player. Only with a sometimes extensive work around can Xfinity content be streamed on a Windows 10 computer. I don't understand why Comcast has not and does not plan to update their Windows 10 streaming interface to eliminate Adobe flash, one of the most insecure software platforms in the world.

use the chrome browser (built-in, sandboxed flash). when on the stream site (each time when requested) turn on flash by clicking on the lock symbol in the address bar. Comcast said will be off flash (only used for HDCP path verification security) by end of December, 2020.

Thanks for the info.  Chrome had also gone to Allow Once for Flash a year or so ago which was why I changed tto Edge, but it looks like they have reversed it for now.  Any idea why video quality is poorer on Chrome than Edge now?  It seems to be constantly buffering whereas Edge is not.  It might be worth the Edge work around for the better video quality

I've been using Firefox 69 recently. It also changed to 'always ask' for Flash. That said, most of the time it no longer asks on Comcast. As far as I can tell, it is NOT actually using Flash.
