Streaming location message for local stations
Why am I getting a location message for local stations when nothing within my account changed.. worked in the am and now I keep seeing it and when I go to the settings there isn’t anything referencing location this is so frustrating when this freaking service is so expensive

Also confirming this same issue on Firestick as of two weeks ago. We have 4 fire stick devices; and three of them suddenly had this issue while one continued to work... Until today it suddenly stopped - apparently due to a Stream app update. I'm hoping an older version of the app can be made available?

I am at the beginning of being away from home for several weeks and just discovered the same problem that everyone has been writing about with the app when using Firestick. This is clearly an Xfinity problem. Will there be a fix?

C’mon xfinity! Have the same issue of streaming local channels through a firestick. You guys are going to force me to look at other solutions for my programming. Obviously your team did something behind the scenes to cause this issue. We pay way too much for this service for this issue to persist. Get someone on this 24/7 until they get it fixed.

Have same issue with fire stick. Please fix this. I pay for streaming and it is suddenly not working. What is the point of having streaming if it doesn't work outside a home network? It also now doesn't work on iphone app or samsung tv app for local channels. Used to be able to cast iphone to Samsung TV when not home because Xfinity app doesn't work on Samsung TV and now can't even do that. Can no longer watch any broadcast TV channels (ABC, CBS, NBC, Fox) with Xfinity Stream when not at home. Again what is the point of Xfinity Stream if it only works on home network??????? Am seriously considering getting rid of Xfinity if this does not get fixed. Please fix ASAP.

I'm having the same issue as everyone else on here. I've talked to numerous technicians and customer service representatives, and this issue has not yet been resolved. I used to be able to stream any channel when not at home and now, the issue seems to be with the local channels. I'm going to have to look into another provider.
