Stream Portal recording management Get Started with the Xfinity Stream Portal Watching DVR Recording

How does one manage the DVR recording loaded into the Streaming portal/service?  The problem is when a program becomes a week old, the Streaming portal deletes the program from the Streaming service.   In the document, {Browse TV support} {Stream TV} {Get Started with the Xfinity Stream Portal} Watching DVR recordings   twice says, " Cloud DVR customers can watch completed recordings anytime, anywhere."  The anytime seems to be within a week.  Do we have any ability to control shows that appear in the {Xfinity Stream}{saved}{Recordings} menu?

if your video service does not include any set top boxes the cloud DVR capacity is 20 hours, oldest are deleted to make space for new recordings. if you have a home DVR set top box the cloud DVR capacity is 60 hours, with oldest rolling off to make room for new recordings. the home DVR has more capacity and is based upon disk space (500 GB).

Yes, RustyBen,

I've heard the mantra many times.  The rolling off for new shows removes many programs before the room in actually needed.   I have no way to determine which programs are available on the Streaming portal.  My understanding is you can watch DVR programs anytime and any where.  There must be a better way to manage which programs are available on the Streaming Portal because a week is about the time the programs, I prefer to watch streaming, are removed from the cloud aka the streaming portal.  I can, and probably have,  accepted the way the software works but am looking for answers since the expectation doesn't meet the delivery.
