stream on pc

I can't seem to stream on my Windows 10 PC.  (I have cable in another room, I have the stream app on my Android phone)  I've hung on letting the stream load for over ten minutes twice now.  What else can I do?

Hello @Moxie58! I'm sorry to hear you're having trouble accessing the Xfinity Stream portal on your Windows 10 PC. Waiting ten minutes for something to load is definitely not the experience we want you to have, and I'd be happy to help you troubleshoot this.
The Xfinity Stream service works a little differently on computers than it does on mobile devices. For Windows 10 PCs, we typically recommend using a web browser rather than an app.
Here are a few steps you can try to resolve the loading issue:

1. Ensure you are using a compatible browser
The Xfinity Stream portal works best with current versions of popular browsers. Please make sure you are using one of the following and that it is up to date:
  • Google Chrome (Recommended)
  • Mozilla Firefox
  • Microsoft Edge

2. Clear your browser's cache and cookies
Sometimes old data stored by your browser can interfere with loading new pages. Clearing this information often resolves loading issues.

3. Check for browser extensions or add-ons
Certain browser extensions (like ad blockers or privacy tools) can sometimes conflict with the Stream player.
  • Try temporarily disabling your extensions and reloading the stream page.
  • Alternatively, you can test the stream in an Incognito or Private browsing window, which runs without extensions by default.
