Stream App TVGO channel lineup on Smart TV

In the past, I have used a Firestick on a TV away from home and been able to stream all available TVGO channels from my subscribed lineup.   Recently had some issues with network channels like CBS, ABC, and FOX where they would work sometimes and not others.

Now, I am traveling and tried using the Stream App on a Roku TV which is away from my home network.   The channel lineup that comes up is a bunch of weird channels that I don't even know if they are part of my subscription.  Things like LOL channel, FoodTV, Deal or No Deal, .....    None of my common channels are in the lineup, such as ESPN, ESPN2, FOOD NETWORK, HGTV, and many more.    In addition, the lineup is showing NBC news channels from other parts of the country.  Nothing I am interested in.

How do I get my normal channel lineup on this Roku TV?

BTW:  Stream app works on my iPad and Phone, and YES, I can Cast to the TV.    So why not simply be able to stream on the TV?

I thought the purpose of having channels designated as TVGO allows you to view channels, while still adhering to license agreements.  Explain why, I could not stream a football game on FOX using the stream app.   However, if I used the Fox Sports App and signed in using Xfinity as my TV provider, it was allowed just fine. Thank you for reaching out to us @KJW123! The Xfinity Stream app on partner devices such as Rokus requires connecting them to your in-home Xfinity Internet. They are not intended to be used while traveling. For more information please check out our article here.

The broadcasters and the stations themselves are able to decide what content is accessible and what content is not through the app. For information please check out our How it Works site
