Stream app on LG Smart TV stuck at "Get Started"

I was able to install the Xfinity Beta app onto my brand new LG Smart TV. It launches with the "Welcome to Xfinity" screen. Howevr, the "Get Started" button doesn't seem to do anything. I poke it using the remote, like everything else, but nothing ever happens. Am I missing something obvious?

I figured it out from another post (that I can’t find now). I had the TV connected by wi-fi. In order to do the set-up you need to be connected via hard wire, presumably so Xfinity can verify that the internet connection is its own. Once it had been set-up via ethernet, I was able to switch back to wi-fi and everything seems to work.

I was able to resolve this. I had the same error and couldn’t figure it out, until I read on the Xfinity app update that the magic wand was still being worked on and to just use the standard directional keys. That prompted me to instead of using the arrow to press the Get Started, wait till the arrow disappears and then hit the enter button. It should click the Get Started now. You just can’t have the arrow on the screen when you hit the enter button on remote
