Stream app not displaying local Boston Channels 4, 5, 10

Question

The stream app has been inconsistent at best for the past year not showing local channels 4 WBZ, 5 WCVB, 10 NECN.  I’ve had to consistently clear the cache, sign out and sign in and reinstall the app in order for these channels to show up. But today non of those actions results in the local channels showing in the channel guide. Only pages of MLS on APPLE  and pages of streaming. How do I get my local Boston channels so I can watch them live.

Thank you for creating the post and for reaching out to our community for some help with the reoccurring issue of missing channels on the Xfinity app. I'm sorry that the Xfinity stream app has been causing so many issues for you for all this time. The stream app is the only way my family watches TV so I know how vital is it for it to work correctly. With the channels missing it would seem like a service entitlement issue, but when they retrun after your normal troubleshooting steps, it's the app that is not functioning. Are you using a firestick with the service? Do you have any X1 cable boxes in your home as well?
