Stream App is Trash

This Stream app is total junk. Hasn’t worked in almost a weeks now. First it started randomly turning on the captioning. You have to turn it off manually if you don’t want the words on the screen. Then Error Code TVAPP-00148. App won’t work on most channels. The agents on the phone don’t know anything, just read from scripts and have you perform pointless tasks to troubleshoot. This is seriously going to force me to leave xfinity.

Hey, @user_gj0l20! Thanks for reaching out to us on the forums! I apologize to hear that you are running into these issues with the TVAPP-00148 and the closed captions. At this time our engineers are currently looking into these issues are they are only appearing to be on the Samsung TVs. At this time they have not provided us with an ETA. We apologize for the inconvenience. Some customers have been able to watch their shows by starting a recording and watching the show as it records. The option would be to use a Roku or firestick and use the Xfinity Stream app that way until the issues are resolved.
